High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. If I was just rating the bar I would give this place five stars. The bar is upbeat, cold mugs reasonable prices, plenty of TVs , lots of sports and the bartender on the night I was there was fast and friendly and knew his stuff. Unfortunately I ordered dinner- now we are talking one star. Absolutely the worst steak I have ever eaten! I ordered a steak and was served a mis-steak! Raw and cold- I didn't send it back knowing what can happen with sent back food by an irritated chef- decided to just take it home and cook on my own grill. After reading these reviews I gave it to my dog. The house salad came with wilted lettuce and a rotten tomato. I sent my silverware back to get recleaned. If you want chips and salsa and a cold beer in front of an HD TV, then you will not be disappointed. If you want a nice sit down meal with your family or a date- go next door to the Texas Roadhouse. This Applebee's has Lost my business!

Just your typical Applebee's. There were people next to us who were complaining of not seeing their waitress since they sat down, which was 20 minutes. Not a good start, however, she showed up shortly thereafter and all was good. I decided I wanted to have a BLT. I was surprised how good it was...lots of bacon on good bread and fresh ingredients. If you're a purist like me, you'll get it without the cheese.

I saw the two stars for this location and I can see why. Not the best service and the food is ok like most applebee's. Mainly the service was not the best. Not happy that my boyfriend waited a long time for even our appetizer to come out let alone our meals but a couple that came in after us got served promptly. If in the area I would go elsewhere.

This Applebee's definitely redeemed the name from the last visit to the one across town. There really isn't anything negative to say about the experience as the staff was friendly - to the point that they gave us extra time to look at the menu (because I couldn't decide what I wanted... seemed like they got an overflow of avocados for Cinco de Mayo, so everything had a touch of the guac). Decided on what to order, meal put in, and came back piping hot. Once the meal finished, we were trying to settle up the bill and mentioned we were there my birthday. "Why didn't you say so?" Out comes an ice cream sundae for dessert! I ended up taking it home, as I was full from my chicken and shrimp rice dinner (which had avocados on it). Downer for the ice cream? It tasted like a Hoodsie cup, masquerading under cheap Hershey's syrup, Reddi-Whip, and a cherry... in a fancy kiddy cup. I'm not gonna complain, it was a nice gesture they do, and was a cool treat. Would I go back to this Applebee's? Yes - quicker than I'd go back to the one I had a problem with!

Omg I should have known when I seen two stars... Nothing was good about my experience tonight especially not the service. I definitely won't return to this location.

Sucks. everything you can do wrong they do. Dirty silverware twice. Under cooked steak. Hamburger raw in the middle. Soup was slopped all over the bowls and the plate. An inch of unstirred sugar in one of the tea glasses. We tried to talk to a manager to discuss the problems, but they couldn't find one. That might be the problem!!!!!!!!!

Service was slow and haphazard. 3 servers came to the table looking to server us after our drink order was taken. We waited over 15 minutes for the drinks in a half empty restaurant. After the drinks arrived we waited another 10 minutes for the order to be taken. Without going into great detail the food was not well prepared. Mozzarella sticks we under cooked and soggy and the rest of the food was the same. Won't be back anytime soon. The manager came to the table next to ours apologize for the same issues I stated here. Too bad he didn't come to mine.

Not my favorite restaurant in the past and not getting any better. We went with a group and drinks came fast but 45 minutes later the food still had not arrived. Half got food half didn't and we were on limited time. We asked the waitress and manager several times to speed up. Finally the manager agreed to take the appetizers off but brought bills for even those who didn't get food - 20% off and a to go box (which also didn't come). Eventually the manager forgave the whole bill explaining the restaurant filled up after we arrived so our orders did something on the computer so they were not seen. What?! The food was okay and some portions small but seriously?

The drinks were watered down, no alcohol and cost way too much. Ordered top shelf Long Island ice tea and all I got was water and a splash of coke. Food was very bland no flavor and very small portions. I hate a restaurant where most everything is Ala cart. Salad was extra and no other amenities like bread or anything else. We ordered hot fudge Sundays. What a mistake. First they came out and the ice cream was melted. It was covered with whipped cream that was melted too. No cherry on top as shown in the menu. And maybe a Dribble of chocolate which was suppose to be Hot Fudge. What a ripoff. When I complained they brought be some cherries and that's all. I will never go to Applebee's again.

Service was great. Food not so much. Seemed like my chicken fajita roll up sat under the heat lamp. Not fresh at all. And the lemonade tasted like dish detergent. Almost like they didn't rinse after they washed the glasses.

This place needs some serious inspecting and possibly new employees and/or management. If I was Applebees I would be very concerned about this particular restaurant. We have been to other Applebees and have had no issues. In fact last year we were at the one on Daniels rd in Ft Myers and had a wonderful experience. Not here. We stopped in for lunch(My husband, 2 kids, and I), and we were greeted and seated quickly. The first thing I noticed was one of the highchairs brought to our table had food caked all over it..which I guess someone should have noticed but whatever. The gentleman that sat us came and cleaned it for us no problem. Waitress came and took our orders no problems she was nice and prompt. While waiting for our food I unrolled my silverware and there was a huge chunk of food caked on my knife. I felt sick to my stomach. I waited until the manager walked by to let her know about the silverware and she said "That's disgusting"..then proceeded to tell me how this is not her regular restaurant she is filling in because the regular manager is in the hospital(probably with food poisoning). Thats great but why do I care? Anyway she brings me another silverware, and I am not kidding when I tell you my husband unrolled it and the knife HAD FOOD ON IT. What the hell is going on in this restaurant? Do the staff just not give a damn? Not only did whoever is supposed to either wash the silverware or unload the dishwasher not see that, but whoever rolled the silverware didn't see it either(which I find hard to believe). I saw the people next to us complain about their silverware being dirty also. So I flagged down the manager again and she was in disbelief and said she was so glad this is not her restaurant. I get she is filling in but isnt she responsible for the place running properly while she is there? I also noticed my water had crap floating in it as our waitress walked over and she took it and commented about how they just spent thousands of dollars on a new dishwasher(really?!?!?)and brought me a fresh clean water. Anyway, our food was good. The sandwich I ordered ended up being wrong and it was corrected fairly quick which was no big deal. The manager stopped by our table and explained to me about whoever made my sandwich being new. Bla bla bla. More excuses. The only good thing was the food was actually good, but honestly after how filthy the restaurant was I was nervous eating there. Then I looked at yelp and saw that someone has actually gotten food poisining from eating there(wonderful), and the place has a low rating and bad reviews. Not surprised at all. Needless to.say we wil not be back, and I will warn everyone I know not to eat here. Also, I thought after our awful experience we would at least be offered a discount. Nope. I have to say that I will probably never eat at another Applebees again because of my experience here.

This is a pretty ho-hum cookie cutter joint, in the corporate style. Low prices, late night bar & karaoke, coupons, etc., bring 'em in here. We are included in this, of course. We had the special: 2 entrees and an appetizer for $20. It's a good deal, sadly the food is lousy. My "medium" 7 oz. steak was served "well-done," the broccoli was limp from being over-cooked, the baked potato was okay. The appetizer of boneless chicken wings was ordered "hot" and came unhot, but there were 12 of them and they contained real chicken breast as far as we could tell. They were slathered in a sweet goopy sauce. The waitstaff was breezy, crisp and unconcerned. I would say only go here if you have a coupon or plan on getting a special. We probably won't return.

Just got home from a great night out with my friends. The food was great, but Mimi, our server made the evening really fun. She was the perfect server for a crazy group of ladies who just wanted to laugh and enjoy our meal together. I had the Thai Shrimp salad (really good) and we all shared desserts to die for. Chocolate lava cake with ice cream and "shooters" of strawberry cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and hot fudge sundae. Decadent but delicious! The owners are new and they did a great job all around, but if you go and are lucky enough to have Mimi serve you, be prepared to laugh and enjoy.

The first time we went I stood at the hostess counter for 5 minutes while they ignores me and even seated other customers that had come in after me. Our second visit was worst. We were promptly seated but it took forever for our waitress to come and get our order then they messed up my daughter's order and burnt my husband and I's dinner. We then sat with empty glasses for quite a while and sat even more once we asked for the check. There won't be a 3rd visit.

Oh my goodness. This is the absolute worst Applebee's on the planet. Every single cook needs fired immediately. I paid $38 for take out tonight and it was not edible Ordered a mushroom Swiss burger. NO MUSHROOMS!! Ordered 9 oz sirloin rare---came well done. Ordered a loaded baked potato with it and paid for extra toppings. It was hard as a rock. Had a huge rotten spot in middle and literally 3 crumbs of bacon. No butter. No sour cream. What a disaster

Our server Tristen was great! Funny and on time. He got everything right. His manager (bald headed dude with mustache) was rude, and didn't bother checking on the only two tables in the restaurant.

A lackluster experience with unappetizing food and slow service. Upon arriving to the restaurant we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere- the restaurant was clean with a sports decor featuring local schools. We came specifically for the Burger Monday ($6.99 burger) promotion highlighting the new burgers on the menu- I ordered the American heritage burger and the other person in my party orders the triple bacon burger; both were served without a dressing, the triple bacon burger was bacon-free, and the American Heritage burger (advertised as containing grilled onions and pickles) contained only a few traces of burned-black onions. If prepared correctly, the burgers would have been average, however what was served to us was substandard and prepared poorly. On top of bad food the service was lacking as it took the server nearly 10 minutes to bring drink refills. Would recommend a dollar menu burger from a fast food joint over the barely edible waste of money we received here.

The appetizers were great. I love the spinach and artichoke dip plus the double crisp bone in wings. The entrees had to be returned. The ribs were burnt with no BBQ sauce. The steak I asked for medium well came out medium rare.

I shouldve checked the yelp before coming here. Wow. My food came out wrong , then when the fries arrived i was appalled. They taste exactly like bk fries and they only gave me like 16 fries lol. I could literally count them . The burger didnt even have the form of a burger and was messy. Took very long to get water and i was parched. I swear the food was bad and i was just super hungry and had to eat some of it. Im disgusted by Applebees and will not return to any of them again. The manager seems to be hanging out at the bar looking fancy and not attending his restaurant. Put more effort in your job and tell the cooks to take pride in their job. Reviews like this will only make your business worse and there is plenty of bad reviews prior to this one.

We had to wait for over an hour to get our food ... No water was brought when we asked ... And our server came back and told us that our food was sitting in back for over a half an hour. My bacon burger and fries were cold. My sweet tea sucked .... Our server was so opinionated about our order and how we wanted to pay. What a bad experience this has been.

Awful food and awful service. Our waitress (Nancy S) rolled her eyes and tapped her foot impatiently when our friends had to explain something on the menu to their children. Just rude. She forgot to put in our app order and then blamed on someone else, saying "someone told me you didn't want them anymore". Food was awful - I ordered a new light entree - shrimp and broccoli cavatappi. I guess they didn't have the right ingredients because I received fettuccini Alfredo with a blob of marinara on it, then shrimp and zucchini. It tasted terrible. I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. I will never go back.

Nine of us ladies arrived for lunch at 11:30. We all ordered salads or a soup and salad combo. Only one came with a roll as advertised. The server told us there were no more rolls. Mandarin oranges were missing from the salads that were supposed to have them. Several pieces of lettuce were brown. It took quite a while for our food to arrive. At 12:30, the manager, Jason Miller, came to talk to us. He said he was" just" informed about the lack of rolls. He said the lettuce was "just the way it came in." When we pressed the issue, he took the orange- less salads off the bill.
